Young Leaders Association of Nigeria (YLAN) has called on Nigerian youths to be courteous of the way and manner they embark on their various agitation.
YLAN National President, Comrade Kabiru Duhu made the called after a meeting with his executives.
The group which condemn the recent unrest in the country and hate speeches going round, added that the recent development can only create disunity.
He said hate speeches and various agitation that are not in tune with the constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria has brought the heightening tension in the country.
“The hate speeches and disintegration being promoted by some individuals across the country has drawn the attentions of the Young Leadership

We are calling on all the parties involved to exercise extreme caution to avoid putting the situation out of control.”
“It is obviously noted that the Nigerian youths are the tools in the hands of some individuals who are determined to disrupt the peace and tranquillity of
Nigeria for their selfish interest.
.YLAN as an organisation that is poised to promote youth participation in peace and nation building is condemning this inimical act of indecency.”
A statement issued by the YLAN national secretary, Comrade Ojukwu Remigius said: “We hereby implore the Nigerian youths to aloof themselves from being used by unscrupulous politicians to perpetrate evil in
our nation which our founding fathers laboured to keep in unity.
“No nation or society will developed in an atmosphere of rancour. This should be understood for the youths to refrain from any form of violence in the interest of peace and national development as well as channelling their energy towards Building a prosperous Nigeria where everyone will be
pleased to dwell.
Young Leadership Association Nigeria YLAN equally wants to employ this opportunity to advise the Government at all levels to include the Youths in their Peace Building efforts as well as making them part of the decision-making in Nigeria ,if our nation’s drive towards sustainable peace and national unity will be possible.”
