Yellow house also known as Arisola House has emerged winners of the 10th edition of the annul Vicsum Private Schools inter-house sports competition.
The competition which involved five houses and held at the schools premises at Omole Phase 11, Ikeja Lagos saw the house winning a total of 12 gold, 12 silver and 18 bronze to emerge the overall winner of the competition while Blue House (Timilola House) came second with 11 gold, 11 silver and 9 bronze just as Green House (Oduola House) emerged as the third best house with 8 gold, 15 silver and 11 bronze.
In his speech at the occasion, chairman of the event, Adebayo Adefuye who also doubles as Chairman of Yaba Local Government Area of Lagos State, commended the school for the games which he said help to build character, encourage competiveness and healthy rivalry amongst the students.
Proprietress of the school, Chief (Mrs) Olusunmisola Adeuye noted that the school embarked on the annual inter- house sports as a way of developing not only academic excellence but the physical, mental state of the students even as she promised that next year’s edition will be ore glamorous.
Principal of the school, Mrs. Agnes Agbo noted that the decision of the school to develop skills and talents among the children that will make them excel in future motivated the management to embark on the annual event.
