Unpaid allowances: Ajimobi meets 32 aggrieved Oyo lawmakers today
By; Bayo Akamo, Ibadan.
Governor Abiola Ajimobi will today meet with the All Progressives Congress (APC) lawmakers in the Oyo state House of Assembly following the indefinite strike embarked upon by the 32 lawmakers in the House over unpaid allowances.

New Nigerian
gathered that the meeting was part of the moves towards resolving the crisis between the lawmakers and the governor in the last few weeks.
Sources said in the bid to prepare ground for the meeting scheduled for 5.00 p.m today at the governor’s private residence in Oluyole, Governor Ajimobi is expected to meet with the 32 lawmakers in the house at the Parliamentary caucus.
According to our source, the major agenda for the meeting will be how to address the grievances of the lawmakers on the non-payment of their allowances, running cost for the House and two months salaries.
The 32lawmakers had last week resolved to boycott sitting indefinitely until the governor is ready to address issues of their welfare after which the APC lawmakers last Friday scheduled a meeting with the governor  but called off when only a scanty number of the 18 APC lawmakers attended.
The lawmakers said they were unaware that the crash in the price of crude oil had adversely affected the finances of all the states and the Federal Government.
