Stamping Out Sexual Abuses: NETCUSA Inaugurates Four Committees

A non governmental organisation (NGO), the Network To Curb Sexual Abuse on Women (NETCUSA)  has inaugurated four committees during its bi-monthly meetings held in Calabar, Cross River State.
Inaugurating the  committee,  chairperson NETCUSA, Comrade Ukeme  Ekong charged them to work diligently and come out with  good reports and suggestions on advocacy visits, community out reaches and public eduction forum, among others.
She stressed the need for the committees  to  advice the
network on information on sexually abused women and awareness issues.
The committees were also saddled with the responsibilities of craving indulgence of the network on gender based violence.
They are also expected to facilitate out lobby and  visits to important dignitaries in the state on the way forward to stamp out gender violence.
They were tasked to explore communities in Cross River that have high prevalence rate of sexual abuse.
The committees were however, given till the month of October ultimatum to submit their reports.
Other members of the NGO were encouraged  to identify themselves with the committees.
