Team Kaduna was cheered all through as they marched past at the opening ceremony of the third edition of the National Youth Games (NYG) at the University of Ilorin, Kwara State on Saturday

Out of the 24 participating states, only hosts Kwara received cheers from the spectators stand as they marched past.
The brilliantly kitted Team Kaduna with over 100 athletes, dressed in yellow and  green track suits on white sneakers and a matching white t-shirts also were outstanding as the best kitted team from the judgement of spectators at the stands.
Meanwhile, the Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Barrister Solomon Dalung who was the Special Guest of Honour as at the time of filing this report, requested to take group photographs with each of the participating states and was expressly granted.
Dalung was escorted for the picture session by the Director of Grassroots Sports Development, Dr. Ademola Are and other dignitaries that attended the opening ceremony.
