Team Ondo as at 2pm on Tuesday, maintained lead on the medals table of the ongoing third edition of the National Youth Games at the University of Ilorin, Kwara State.
They have four gold, five silver and two bronze medals, with most of their hauls coming in from gymnastics.
Second placed Delta with two gold, two silver and four bronze medals, may have to be patient till medals start counting from athletics to dominate the table.
Bauchi State are following closely on the third spot with two gold and one bronze medals, while Akwa Ibom maintains number four position with one gold, two silver and one bronze medals.
Kano State with one medal apiece is placed fifth, Bayelsa holds the sixth spot with one gold, three bronze medals, while Oyo State with one gold, one bronze rocks the seventh position.
Katsina State shares the seventh position with same number and quality of medals, while Sokoto with one gold settles for ninth position.
Ogun and Kogi states tie at the 10th position with two silver medals each.
Other states that are not among the top ten but have won medals at the games are FCT, Abia, Kaduna, Kwara, Benue, Enugu, Osun and Plateau.
Meanwhile, late comers, Rivers State arrived for the games on Tuesday.
