The Kaduna State Commissioner of Youth Sports and Culture, Mr. Daniel Danauta has charged the state’s contingent to the 3rd edition National Youth Games (NYG) 2017 which opens at the University of Ilorin, Kwara State, few hours from now to go for gold.

He gave the charge while addressing the contingent at their camp on Saturday.
“There are three categories of medals, which you ate aware of the gold is what you are winning for Kaduna State and gold is what we shall take back to his Excellency,” he added.
Danauta told them that the Governor, Malam Nasir El-Rufai sends his goodwill, and has vowed to ensure that their security and welfare is adequately catered for.
He charged them to work as a team and keep aside all individual aspirations and remember that Kaduna is where they are representing.
“I know that Kaduna is here to participate in 18 events. Those of us here should see ourselves not in the individual names you answer. You are not here as Isaac, David or Tanko or as Deborah, Aisha or Salamatu. You are here as Kaduna State,” he charged.
