*security agencies vow to ensure hitch free visit

Kano statye Govenment has announced that all is well for President Muhammadu Buhari’s official visit to the state on Wednesday, December 6, 2017, assuring that all the necessary arrangements have been concluded to receive the president warmly.
Speaking with newsmen, the state’s commissioner of information, Comrade Muhammad Garba disclosed that the president will commission many important projects executed by the Governor Abdullahi Ganduje administration and projects that are duly completed by the present administration that were abandoned uncompleted by previous administrations.
According to the commissioner, Kano State people are eager to witness the arrival of their president as his first official visit since he assumed office as the executive president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, urging the people of the state to abide by the law and show the habit of Kanawas for the success of the visit.
Similarly, the security agencies in the state have warned that they would never allow any misconduct during the visit adding that anybody caught making any move to disupt the presidential visit would face the full wrath of the law without delay.
New Nigerian Newspapers correspondent who went round the city of Kano reported that everything was going on smoothly for the receipt of the president and his entourage, while the security operatives were busy going round the streets in large convoys to ensure that all goes well during the visit.
A group of youth who spoke to New Nigerian said that the president would receive a warm and rousing welcome from the teaming youth because Kano State is for Buhari and would continue to be for him as a trusted and tested leader.
