THE Kaduna North Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) Local Government chairmanship candidate Engineer Balarabe Mohammad Bello, has congratulated the newly elected chairman of the local government, Sama’ila Suleman of the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC)..
Speaking with the New Nigerian after the announcement of the result, the PDP candidate said that in every election, a winner or loser must emerge.
He said election that took place on Saturday was well organised, and that it was because of its fairness that he accepted the result in good faith.
“The newly elected chairman, Sama’ila Suleman is my brother, and I’m happy for him winning the election, so let other people have faith in the election result and rejoice with the newly elected leader for peace and progress to rain in the State,” he said.
“Meannwhile, Engineer Balarabe Mohammad had enjoined people of the local government to support the newly elected chairman towards moving the local government forward.
Furthermore, he called on Suleiman to be active, honest and hardworking, while administering the local government, so as to bring progress to the people during his tenure.
He also advised the chairman to work hand in hand with members of other political parties without political differences, and for the benefit of people of the local government in particular and the state at large.
