Health Minister Visits Kaduna Airport Hospital, others Assures Of Air Passengers Safety

The Nigeria’s Minister of State for Health Dr. Osagie Ehanire
Sunday visited Kaduna Airport Hospital, several other Federal Hospitals and Kaduna State Government to seek partnership in preparation for the transfer of Abuja flight to Kaduna Airport.
Speaking at the Kaduna Airport shortly after inspection of health facilities,  the Minister expressed satisfaction at the level of work done at the renovation sites pointing out that the Federal Government will also make use of the Kaduna State Quarantine facility at the train station if need be, adding that the Federal Government will also release funds to support hospital build up for this network.
The minister who was also received at the 345 Aero-Medical Hospital, visited the  Accident and Emergency unit, Main Operating theatre, Laboratory and dental clinic and Radiology department stressing that the Aero-Medical Hospital is well equipped and will no doubt provide
satisfactory health services to Nigerians.
Also speaking, the Commander of the Aero-Medical Hospital, Group Captain Gideon Bako maintained that the Hospital is ready to take up any challenge to ensure the health of Nigerians flying through Kaduna.
At the National Eye Center, the Chief Medical Director Dr. Alhassan Mahmud said “apart from the Hospital’s proximity to the Kaduna Airport, the Hospital is going to work closely with stakeholders to ensure a smooth operation’’
Other places visited were the 44 Army Reference Hospital and the Sir Kashim Ibrahim House which is the seat of power in Kaduna State.  They both assured of their commitment to ensure that passengers are safe.
