The Minister of Agriculture, Chief Audu Ogbe, has expressed the Federal Government’s determination to put an end to the nefarious activities of herdsmen in the country.
Audu Ogbe, disclosed this in Kafanchan on Thursday during the “Memory and Inter-Group Dialogue in Southern Kaduna Reconciliation through Wealth Creation” organised by Kukah, said, most of the attacks by herdsmen in the country were by foreign herdsmen from some West African Countries .
He said the information was gathered from the arrest made so far as most of those apprehended do not understand any of Nigerian language.
According to Ogbe, a topic has been slated for discussion by the federal government at the next meeting of Heads of States of ECOWAS on the imperatives of every country to control its herdsmen and cattle.
