Buhari’s Visit To Kano A Blessing – Residents

Some residents of Kano  who had  series of chats with our  correspondent said that  President Muhammadu Buhari’s visit to the state is a  very good development  politically  because  Kano is an important state in  Nigerian politics  and in every dispensation.

An APC stalwart based in Abuja who came to witness the president’s visit Alhaji Auwalu Dogo  Koki alias Dan Hajiya said that Buhari is a good leader and his mind is clean that is why Nigerians always  rally round him for the development of the country especially nowadays when the nation is in need of a genuine  change like what we are enjoying today.

He added that  Buhari’s policies are very important for a country like Nigeria to develop rapidly, but accorfing to him ,  some of the people are not intrested in  such policies  because they don’t want things to go right sue to their selfish interests,  urging   well meaning citizens to  support the president’s “change begin with me” agenda which is the way forward.

Similarly,  another politician from Dambatta Local Government Area,  Hajiya Alpha Abdu Usman Dambatta  told New Nigerian that president Buhari would take Nigeria to a better stage if given all the necessary co-operation, and called on all Nigerians to support  the present administration for  the progress of this great country at all levels.

Another commentator, Malam Ahmadu Abdullahi, disclosed that Buhari has achieved a lot eapecially in the area of security,  fight against curruption as well as in agriculture  saying that Nigeria is now  becoming a peacefull place to live since the inception of this administration,  and thanked the kano state governor Ganduje for changing the face of kano state without bias.

The president on his arrival freed  500 prisoners from Kurmawa Prison, commissioned hospitals completed by  Governor Abdullahi Ganduje and other projects  that are vital to the people  in all sector and later had interaction sessions with the business community, politicians and other well wishers  as scheduled during the official visit.
