It has been estimated that no fewer then six hundred thousand poultry chickens and other assorted births have been destroyed in plateau state following the recent outbreak of Birth flu in the state.
Chairman of the state Chicken Market Sellers Association, Alhaji Sani Abdulaziz disclosed this during an interview where he decried the epidemic in the state of the disease.
Abdulaziz added that poultry farmers in the state suffered a setback in their business activities. He commended the effort of the present government policy aimed at empowering Nigerians.
He however commended the current policies of the Federal Government on poverty alleviation. Poultry farmers in the state also welcomed the policy aimed at empowering the masses.
