Oil-rich South South state, Bayelsa left no one in doubt if their creativity and ingenuity as the emerged champions of the 30th edition of the National Festival of Arts and Culture (NAFEST), which ended with a colourful closing ceremony on Saturday in Kaduna.
The winners had at the opening ceremony, showed seriousness by coming to Kaduna better prepared than other states, even distributing specially printed programmes for the event.
The Trade Fair Complex venue of the closing ceremony came alive with rich cultural presence of several states and ethnic groups in Nigeria.
Kaduna State Government “Centre of Learning” that hosted the 2017 edition also left visitors yearning for more, as its hospitality was unrivalled.
The event with the theme “Nigerian Unity and Peace Our Pride” commenced from 31st October to 4th November 2017 with pomp and pageantry at the highest display.
