Amosun Purchases 2 Million Dollars Robotic Fire Fighting  Equipment  For Ogun



The Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun has approved the purchase of a 2million Dollars robotic fire fighting equipment for the state fire service unit in the Ministry of Works and Infrastructure .

Just as he promised to   develop the state in spite of the massive infrastructural development that dotted the nooks and crannies of the state.

This  move  was described as a major intervention in order to totally reduce fire incidents in the state.

The Head of Media in the ministry, Mr. Ayokunle Ewuoso in a statement said that the decision to purchase the fire equipment was arrived at , at the 2018 Treasury Board Meeting held at the Obas Complex, okemosan Abeokuta.

According to the governor, ” our administration should be looking at getting a robotic fire fighting equipment. This is the latest fire fighting equipment that is been used in the modern world. In the his place now, God forbid if we have fire incident do we have the latest
equipment to put it under control “.

“By this time next year we should be having five to seven even more high rising buildings in the state, we just must close our eyes a look for the one like 2million Dollars” he remarked.

He directed the Commissioner Arc. Olamilekan Adegbite and the Permanent Secretary, Engineer Kayode Ademolake to put up a memo for the purchase of  more earth moving equipments for the use of the ministry.

While announcing government’s intention to establish an asphalt plant, senator Amosun assured that the 2018 budget would stand out as the best since inception of his administration.
