41 Year Anniversary; Emir of Zazzau calls for more tolerance

The Chairman Kaduna State Council of Chiefs and Emirs and the Emir of Zazzau Alhaji Shehu Idris has urged his subjects to maintain their culture of accommodating visitors.
He made the call while commenting on his 41 years on throne of Zazzau emirate yesterday 8th February, 2016, at his palace in Zaria City.
Emir Idris said in the last four decades, a lots of achievements were recorded in the emirate because of the people’s orientation of accommodating visitors and peaceful coexistence which Zaria people were known for.
He noted that many Nigerian leaders have at one point or the other passed through Zaria academically or otherwise.
Alhaji Shehu Idris thanked the people of Zaria, Zazzau emirate, Kaduna State and Nigerians in general for their prayers and support accorded him as the 1th8 Emir which he enjoys.
According to him Zazzau Emirate will continue to grow from strength to strength at all level because of the people’s orientation in accommodating visitors.
