2019: Ejiofor Aligns, Declares Support For Atiku

The Convener of Concerned Citizens Forum of Nigeria, Ambassador Nwangwu Anthony Ejiofor on Friday aligned with former Vice President of Nigeria,Alhaji Atiku Abubakar calls for the restructuring of Nigeria as he declared him as the next President of the country.
Ejiofor made the declaration in a chat at his office in Warri, Delta State.
“What we asking is, restructure Nigeria. We need strong men, strong institutions. Reduce liabilities. If Atiku shows seriousness with the restructuring he talked about, we will support him. He is the next President of Nigeria.”
Ejiofor who is also the Chief Executive Officer of LightWorld & Industries Nigeria Limited vowed to support Alhaji Atiku if he shows seriousness in his crusade for the restructuring of Nigeria.
Ejiofor, a Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), lamented the “over concentration” of powers at the Central noting that some states are being cheated.
Ejiofor pointed out some regions including individuals are feeding on the collective resources of the people
” If you restructure, there will be equal participation in the project Nigeria while there will be checks and balances”.
Ejiofor emphasized the need for the devolution of powers by the Federal Government to give equal opportunities and competitions in the various states.
He also suggested that non-viable economic states should be collapsed while a “Single Confederate Unit” be maintained.
Ejiifor noted that the exploration of crude oil has caused environmental degradations in some parts of the country.
Ejiofor stated that Nigeria encourages laziness with its over dependence on Crude Oil.
Ejiofor also lambasted the change mantra of President Muhammadu Buhari led Federal Government saying that,” the government has no clear policies on foreign investments.”
Ejiofor stated the economy has gone from better to worse since Preaident Buhari took over from Dr. Goodluck Jonathan in 2015 till date.
He noted that the economy has nosedived, youth unemployment and nose-diving of the naira in addition to the non-availability of electricity supply.
While pointing out the above tells negatively on the economy, Ejiofor warned that failure to grow the economy could lead to the Nigerian populace taking up arms against the government.
” This government is saving money not building roads. Electricity is the bedrock of Nigeria’s economy. We don’t have electricity. What you see in Aba is as result of the genuienty of the business men there. We have changed from good to worse. Dollar is increasing everyday.”
Ejiofor called on President Muhammadu Buhari to muscle the political will to change and stabilize the economy.
The PDP chieftain claimed that former President Goodluck Jonathan ensured that Nigeria becomes a viable state with laudable projects he initiated during his reign.
According to him, ” Dr. Goodluck created a business friendly atmosphere for businesses to thrive. He initiated YouWin programme for the youths. I mean youths were gainfully employed.”

  1. Restructuring is the way forward for Nigeria.
    For good governance and better life for Nigerians we must restructure and the former Vice president Atiku Abubakar is the man for the job and by God’s grace our next President.
